Immensely important historic variety. A direct descendant of Sir Isaac Newton's famous apple tree in his garden at Woolsthorpe Manor in Lincolnshire. A great flavoured cooking apple with large, odd looking bumpy fruit! Not the prettiest apple or the most prolific cropper but an interesting and important addition to any collection.
