Aucuba japonica variegata - Spotted Laurel

A useful and versatile evergreen shrub, providing colour and form throughout the year. A female variety of laurel with glossy green leaves mottled with a bright golden yellow. A popular choice for the Victorian shrubbery. Tough and fully hardy, suitable for all soil types and sites from full sun to full shade, only requiring a little protection from cold, drying winds. Wonderful for illuminating shady areas of the garden. Max 2.5m x 2.5m. Trim to required shape in late summer.
