Cercis canadensis 'Forest Pansy'

Forest Pansy. A large shrub or small deciduous tree native to eastern North America. The large magenta and purple heart-shaped leaves make this a captivating specimen for any size of garden. Although fully hardy, it will benefit from a sheltered spot in full sun to help maintain foliage colour. Will tolerate most soil types and suitable for urban planting, though will struggle in very wet or poorly drained sites. Max height 5-8m.
