Gage 'Old Greengage' (St Julian A)

The oldest gage still in cultivation and considered by many to be the finest flavoured dessert plum of them all. Native to Armenia and named after Sir William Gage who imported it to Britain in 1724. A wonderful old-fashioned variety with dull green fruit with a superb flavour. Partially self-fertile and will require a pollinatoe for best results. Fully hardy. Max 2.5m.
