Prunus 'Kojo-no-mai'

Fuji Cherry. Outstanding deciduous small standard tree with a compact rounded shape and gently spreading habit. Delicate looking zig zag twigs burst into life in late winter/ early spring when deep crimson buds open to reveal pale powder pink blossom. Stunning array of flaming reds, purples and yellows in autumn. Excellent specimen for a rock garden or Japanese style garden, having a bonsai type appearance. Fully hardy and suitable for most well drained soils and tends to do best in lightly dappled shade. Lightly prune to shape in summer.

Supplied as a 100cm top-worked standard in a 7.5L Air-Pot. Grown in Stairway Peat-free Compost.
