Ornamental Pear. A medium sized deciduous tree, slender in form with a tight upright crown. Clusters of creamy white blossoms in spring followed by deep green glossy foliage, turning brilliant reds and vivid oranges, with tiny brown fruit, in autumn. A beautiful specimen tree and stunning in avenue plantings. A popular choice for an urban setting as it is tolerant of pollution and suitable for almost any site, including coastal and cold, exposed locations. Tough and fully hardy. 5m x 3m after 20yrs.
