STAIRWAY PEAT FREE COMPOST
From our inception, we have been fully committed to reducing the peat content of our compost, with the aim of eventually developing a 100% Peat Free Compost, suitable for the production of high quality, Air-Pot grown trees and shrubs.

Through an ongoing process of trials and refinement, we have developed our own low peat and peat free composts and are now producing almost all of our stock in those blends. These are further enhanced by the use of natural biostimulants which provide the active microbial life found in nature and essential to plant health. This creates strong, healthy and easily established plants.

SYMBIO
STAIRWAY uses natural bio-stimulant products provided by SYMBIO.

Symbio helps growers create the healthy soil food web needed to grow strong plants with a minimum of inorganic fertilisers and pesticides. Symbio supplies inoculants and compost tea brewers to grow the mycorrhizal fungi, soil bacteria and fungi, protozoa and nematodes needed to create living growing media plus the nutrients and biostimulants essential for living soil and healthy plants.
