An enchanting French variety, introduced in 1891. Large pannicles of purple buds, opening to beautiful double deep pink blooms in late spring which are strongly and sweetly scented. Fully hardy, sturdy and relaible plants, suitable for most soil types. Max 2m x 1.5m. Easily maintained at desired size and shape.
