Weigela florida 'Alexandra'

A dramatic and quite romantic deciduous shrub with rich deep purple/ red foliage and smothered in deep rose pink tubular flowers in late spring/ early summer. A eye catching plant which makes a fine single specimen or a very beautiful and ornamental grouping or hedge. Max height 120-150cm though easily trimmed to desired height and shape after flowering. Hardy and suitable for most soil types. Grow in full sun for the best foliage colour.
