Based at Stair, a small Ayrshire village, we believe that we have developed a unique way of growing trees and shrubs.By definition, all nurseries compromise their stock in one way or another. We believe that at Stairway, we have developed a process which minimises the compromises made on the horticultural front. Our horticultural skill, experience, the benefits of growing in Air-pots plus a desire to put horticulture first – gives our trees and shrubs a natural strength, root structure and dense rootball.
