The plants establish quickly and reliably because the root structure imitates what would happen naturally.
At Stairway, we are only interested in caring for and supplying plants that are as natural as possible. This means that a Stairway tree will require the bare minimum of staking – if any.
Because there is little or no shock when a Stairway tree or shrub is planted, there should be no loss of a season either in terms of fruit or flower.
Because the density of rootball is so much greater as a result of the 360 degree air pruning, the tree or shrub will grow quicker than a conventionally grown plant.
As we believe in very loose staking, the Stairway tree and shrub will have inherent strength. Also because the root system is equally distributed around the rootball, our tree will withstand greater extremes of temperature.
